Hello! I’m a very happy owner of a Synology 918+ Nas and recently i’ve upgraded from 4x4T 5400RPM drives to 4x8TB 7200 RPM drives. Nothing new under the sun, maybe a bit more noise but nothing crazy. Totally bearable (the nas is in my office about 1.5 m away) But a few weeks ago i noticed a strange noise, repetitive, Tok Tok, Tok Tok , pause, Tok Tok Tok Tok, pause … It was slowly but surely creeping inside my head, i was unable to focus or to work in the office without shutting the nas down.
